Why does everyone act like quitting smoking is some magic fix for ED? I’ve seen so many posts and articles about “quit smoking and look, your erections come back!” but I’ve been smoking for over 15 years, and my ED started long before I picked up the habit. I don’t doubt that smoking wrecks your health in general, but am I the only one who thinks this connection is overblown?
Are there actually people here who quit and saw a real difference, or is this just another thing doctors say when they don’t have real answers? If it really has such a strong impact, why do some older smokers still function fine? Is there anything concrete beyond the usual “smoking is bad” advice? Would love to hear from others who’ve actually been through it, especially if quitting didn’t magically solve your problem.
