I’ve seen the argument over and over that beta-blockers “rarely” cause ED, especially Atenolol. Yet, if you dig around the forum, plenty of users mention their problems started right after they began blood pressure medication-especially Atenolol or similar drugs. My doc claims the dose is too low to matter, but the timing is suspicious.
Anyone else here find that the official studies don’t match personal experience? Has anyone gotten better quitting Atenolol? Honestly, is this side effect underreported, or am I just looking for a scapegoat? Would like to hear from guys who actually stopped or switched meds, not just the typical textbook responses.
