I’m Dr. Bethan Treadgold, a research psychologist with the Primary Care Research Group at the University of Exeter Medical School. I’m currently spearheading a research initiative funded by the National Institute for Health Research School for Primary Care Research. Our project is titled ‘Accessibility, acceptability, and accuracy of online support groups for primary care conditions’. Our goal is to investigate how primary healthcare professionals might play a more active role in online support groups by endorsing or verifying the information and advice provided.
As an integral part of this study, I am seeking participatoin from primary healthcare professionals as well as individuals who have personally utilized online support groups. The involvement would entail participating in a one-off informal interview to gather insights and experiences.
If you’re interested in contributing to this important research or need more details, please feel free to reach out to me directly at b.m.treadgold@exeter.ac.uk.
